Amy is known as the Queen of Major League Baseball visas--she was awarded Sports Immigration Lawyer of the Year in 2019 and is widely respected in the field. She is always willing to help other attorneys with their cases AND does so much pro bono work to help detained children and asylum seekers. She is truly an angel, and it's a shame to see people spam her Google with 1-star reviews simply because they disagree with her educated opinion on immigration reform (S386). The world is a better place because of lawyers like Amy.

If you were tempted to think an immigration lawyer from East Lansing was less preferable to one from DC, Detroit or another major city--think again. Amy Maldonado is a national name in immigration for a reason. She can accomplish what you think is impossible and has extensive outreach. I highly recommend her, wherever you are, because she fights to the finish using unmatched and extremely innovative strategies that represent a type of thinking that is dynamic, adaptive to constantly changing immigration laws and situations, and is creatively out of the box.
